Chinese title: 新旅
Official music video for New Journey, a folk-fusion medley by GIMA Band. Shot in national parks across Singapore, this music video seeks to showcase Singapore’s lush greenery and the vision of being a “Garden City,” also highlighting a call to embrace nature.
Director’s Statement
Gima band is uniquely made up of the Mongolian Morin Khuur player Anarva Wang and the acoustic guitar player Marco Zhang. New Journey was created by Gima Band to showcase the different nature places we have in our wonderful garden city of Singapore. As this past year was an especially difficult year for film makers and musicians, we were very blessed to have the support of the National Arts Council to produce this music video. We hope you enjoy the music as your soak in the wonderful nature and greenery of our parks in Singapore.
